The soundtrack festival “KYOBANSAI -KYOTO SOUNDTRACK FESTIVAL-” was held in Kyoto last year in 2022.

The soundtrack live concert, where you can enjoy animation images and soundtracks together, will be held on 29 April (Sat) at Yoyogi National Stadium No. 2 in Tokyo under the title ‘TOKYOBANSAI -TOKYO SOUNDTRACK FESTIVAL- 2023’.

Soundtracks play an important role in Japanese animation productions, which enjoy overwhelming popularity around the world.

The soundtrack is an important element that changes the scene, but there has never been a music festival dedicated to it, such as the one held for theme songs, either in the world or in Japan, the centre of the animation industry.

We want to bring out the best of this music, which has the power to bring out the best of the work, together with a lot of other people, to the anime lovers of the world. We want to hold the world’s first soundtrack festival in Japan! Last year, with the cooperation of many people, “Episode 0” was held at the World Heritage Site Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto, an ancient capital with a history of over 1,300 years.

The stage was moved to Tokyo for the “TOKYO SOUNDTRACK FESTIVAL – 2023”, where the best composers of Japanese anime music will be reunited.
The festival offers the opportunity to enjoy the fusion of various animation works and music.
